The Food Runner will provide consistent, efficient, personalized and prompt food and beverage service in our restaurant, while ensuring that Omni Hotel & Resort standards are met at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests when entering the rooms with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
- Set up according to type of event and service standards.
- Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections.
- Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.
- Record transction in MICROS system at time of order.
- Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Clean and set up.
- Complete closing duties.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of food/beverage service preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of Micros preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good up-selling skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible and reliable.
- Honest and dependable.
- Great customer service and a positive attitude.
- Ability to become TIPS certified
- Food Handlers certification
