Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to IP policies and practices.
- Ensure a safe work environment for yourself, your team, and the facility.
- Lead by example; critical role for this position.
- Work schedule: 11pm-7am or 7am-11pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend overtime as needed.
- Supervise and support the night shift maintenance crew in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. Address safety, productivity, and communication issues.
- Expedite communication with converting and corrugator supervisors to address downtime promptly.
- Utilize SAP for tasks including safety work orders, creating work orders, time confirmations, parts inquiries, and closing completed orders.
- Act as a hands-on leader, assisting with repairs, productivity issues, and projects.
- Manage time effectively, assign tasks, and coordinate team members to optimize repair and project timelines.
- Proactively monitor facility and machinery conditions through regular walk-arounds and communication with supervisors and production teams.
- Address safety, production, and maintenance topics with the team to improve plant efficiency.
