We are in search of a Payroll Manager in the South Bay. This role involves taking charge of the payroll function and working closely with various departments to ensure efficient operations and compliance within applicable jurisdictions.

• Lead the payroll process for all staff, ensuring timely and accurate data verification, including gross, taxes, adjustments, and deductions.
• Submit and oversee all payroll taxes to governmental entities accurately and promptly, understanding the varying deadlines of multiple states.
• Act as the functional lead in the payroll department, reporting to the VP – Finance and Accounting.
• Collaborate effectively with HR, Legal, and Operations to ensure efficient and effective payroll operations.
• Utilize technology advancements to enhance the 'Essential Functions' section as outlined.
• Execute duties independently without heavy supervision, exhibiting initiative and analytical thinking skills.
• Build cross-functional relationships and establish oneself as a positive team contributor.
• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of payroll, related audits, and reporting.
• Resolve tax invoices from local, state, or federal government entities in conjunction with ADP or the agency directly.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now, Crystal Reports, 401k
• RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Benefit Functions, ADP
• Payroll skills effectively in performing all duties.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing

• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Solid understanding of general accounting functions
• Experience in auditing payroll and accounting data
• Ability to manage benefit functions
• Experience with ADP - Payroll for processing employee payments
