As a Security Consultant in our Chicago office, you will help us empower our clients to minimize loss and increase their resilience to security threats.
Here’s why we need you:
In this role, you will initially work with and be mentored by experienced consultants. Your initial assignments will include Client presentations, technical criteria, probable opinion of costs, meeting minutes, memorandums, specifications and assessments.The successful candidate shall assist various company project managers with selecting, recommending, evaluating and researching alternate systems or products for implementing security systems design; and will provide on-going support for our Clientele.
The successful candidate shall be required to stay abreast of emerging technologies products / services, guidelines, standards and their applicability to potential projects. Applicant shall maintain an internal technological proprietary security services library for use by company personnel systems planning, device placement, selecting equipment, completing field surveys, and reviewing equipment shop drawings.As you gain project experience, you will take on a greater role in project, writing specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase work.
Required Skills:
Applicant should be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously or within a group. Experience should include knowledge of technical, physical and operational security elements. Applicant must have good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge and desire to perform sales initiatives, knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Knowledge regarding building construction process preferred, but not necessary.
Applicant should expect to travel up to 20% as required.
Required Education:
Applicant shall have a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Administration or equivalent and have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the security industry.
Candidate should be of good moral character and have the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000Full Benefits package to include: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, Paid sick time, FSA, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k.
