SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Business Manager for Global Commercial Services will be a pivotal figure in our organization, possessing a deep understanding of channel, brand, product strategies, and local market pricing. The primary responsibility will be collaborating with and assisting the local teams in implementing our global strategies effectively in identified strategic localities.

By bridging the gap between global objectives and local execution, you will ensure that our initiatives are aligned and impactful, driving success across diverse markets. This position may be based in Avon, OH or Hickory, NC.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Document planogram details (ex. size, length, retail, product grade, etc.) and promotional displays on Shurtape & competitive products, customer or market insights that could be instrumental in shaping international growth strategies with best-in-class product offerings at competitive retailers.
  • Identify competitive testing needs and work with the R&D teams to execute.
  • Analyze and recommend market-led pricing, understanding the analytics involved with recommending competitive retails.
  • Assist with the International Pricing Strategy by balancing customer margins as well as delivering strong results to the company.
  • Work with the US and International Marketing Teams to execute key marketing plans & strategies.
  • Provide the satellite marketing teams with current content by working with the US Marketing Teams to obtain (marketing decks, sell sheets, videos, new launch plans, marketing communications plans and consumer insights).
  • Assist in developing content where gaps may be identified.
  • Recommend key growth strategies based on findings.
  • International travel to retail stores in key markets with a key deliverable being a summarized, comprehensive report on all customers.
  • Primary contact for several small international customers in regions where we do not have a dedicated salesperson.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance or Business
  • MBA required
  • 3-5 years of Product Management experience required with proven ability to analyze competitive offerings (product benefits /features /retails) and effectively position Shurtape products in local markets at market-led retails
  • Must be detail oriented with strong financial skills
  • Must possess proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and project planning.
  • Familiar with analytical software with an aptitude for quick assimilation of data
  • Experience with tools like Excel, SAP, Tableau, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Project.
  • Willing to travel internationally 20-30%

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment.
