Systems Architect - SA25-18775

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)

We are seeking a skilled Cloud and Systems Architect to support a public sector client in overseeing, managing, and executing cloud services and platforms. This role focuses on supporting infrastructure, applications, data, and business operations in a dynamic and forward-looking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, upgrade, administer, test, and enhance the virtual desktop infrastructure environment.
2. Assist with modernization and migration efforts for applications, data, and infrastructure.
3. Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 environments.
4. Manage and maintain other Microsoft platforms and environments.
5. Oversee identity platforms and ensure secure identity and access management.
6. Administer and manage a multi-cloud environment, optimizing performance and scalability.
7. Architect, design, lead, and coordinate technology initiatives across various domains, including:

• Infrastructure administration
• Application development
• Data management and analytics
• Cybersecurity
• External hosting
• Identity and access management
• Network infrastructure
• Security hardening, privacy, and compliance

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (4 years of relevant experience may substitute for education).

Experience Requirements:

• 2–3 years of strong professional experience as a Microsoft Azure Cloud Systems Architect (required).
• 2–3 years of experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (highly desired).
• 5–8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field (required).
• 5 years of experience supporting middleware (e.g., API management, IT service automation tools, and batch job services) (highly desired).
• 2–3 years of experience in Microsoft software administration (highly desired).
• 2–3 years of experience in enterprise architecture (required).

• In-depth knowledge of:
• Microsoft Azure services
• Microsoft Server products

• Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu)
• Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and architecture.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, including patch management.
• Strong strategic planning, assessment, and analytical skills.
• Expertise in system administration and hosting across diverse solutions.
• Ability to research and implement innovative technology solutions.
