Staff Accountant

You will be working closely with property managers, office support, site staff, vendors, tenants, and owners to manage billing, payables, collections, and other financial issues.

• Oversee the handling of billing procedures for a portfolio of properties.
• Manage payable accounts effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure collections are properly executed and recorded.
• Address and resolve any financial issues that may arise.
• Maintain multiple sets of books with diligence and accuracy.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare month-end financial reports and present findings to relevant parties.
• Liaise with property managers, office support, site staff, vendors, tenants, and owners to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger for efficient financial management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Thorough understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with the General Ledger
• Knowledge of real estate and property industry is a plus
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
