Overview:
SUMMARY
HUSTLER Casino is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support our casino HR team. This position reports to the Director of HR for the Hustler and Lucky Lady Casinos and works out of our Hustler Casino offices. The Human Resources Generalist will handle tasks within the Human Resources department with responsibilities in training and development, HRIS administration, onboarding/offboarding, HR ticket management (using Zendesk), assisting with employee relations and investigations, and general HR administration including special projects and rewards and recognition.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related field of Study preferred, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Professional office environment. In office 100% of the time
- While our offices are a strictly professional environment, due to the nature of our business involving adult content, certain roles may be exposed to adult content while performing their job functions.
- Job requires ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
- Job requires ability to lift and carry items up to 20lbs

Responsibilities :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Research projects as directed
- Compile HR reports as directed
- Assist with recruitment and employee relations
- Maintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and manage/report on status of training requirements such as sexual harassment
- Conduct Onboarding and Off-boarding of retail and corporate employees
- Process new hires, terminations and other status changes within the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now and eTime)
- Generate Background Checks and Assessment tests
- Manages I-9 and E-Verify compliance for retail team
- Responds to unemployment claims and assists external unemployment claims administrator with necessary information
- Partners with Legal in tracking and auditing the collection of required onboarding documents
- Assists with recruitment efforts by candidate sourcing, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, reference checking and posting jobs using an ATS (Jazz HR)
- Responsible for ordering and distribution of Labor Law Posters in compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Assists with general HR questions and understanding how to apply company policy and procedures, determining when escalation is necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience with generalist duties
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgement and discretion
- General knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Microsoft Windows environment
