Software Engineering Intern
Overview:
Software Engineering Intern- Irvine, CA- Must be enrolled in school at the time of summer internship to be considered
Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking motivated Software Engineering Interns to join our growing Software Engineering team in our Irvine, CA office. This paid internship will start in May/June and continue through August/September 2025 with an opportunity to potentially continue through the school year.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25- $38. The final offer amount may vary and is based on the candidates' year in school. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
Responsibilities:
How you will spend your summer:
- The intern spend time learning about the IFES system through hands on experience performing application audit (e.g. Paxus) and interactive validation during development, integration, dryrun, & ATP.
- The intern will gain experience using industry tool such as Jira, JAMA, and Synergy.
- The intern will learn about Linux, Android, and custom PAC tool such as Interactive Validation Tool (IVU)
- The intern will be supporting customer projects and have a chance to interact with customer (e.g. Japan Airline)
- The intern will be given opportunity to develop software or automation scripts depending on their progress and experience.

Qualifications:
What you'll need:
- Undergraduate junior senior or graduate student
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, take verbal as well as written instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent. Python, Linux, Android. Coding Skills.
