As an EyePoint Intern, you will:

• Dive into real projects that directly impact our business goals.

The Medical Device Engineering Summer Intern will report directly to the Sr. Staff Product Development Engineer, and will be responsible for supporting the design and development of medical device and combination products.

This position is located at our Watertown, MA facility. We offer a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities and projects to be completed include the following:

• Generating/reviewing testing protocols / reports
• Performing product testing
• Reviewing CAD drawings
• Performing / reviewing tolerance analysis
• Analyzing testing data
• Participate in root cause investigation

Qualifications:

Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:

• MS Word
• MS Excel
• MS Powerpoint
• Solidworks (Plus)
• Statistical Analysis

Level of Education Required:

• Must be a student in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university
• Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising Junior/Senior> status.

Preferred Field(s) of Study:

Life sciences or similar science-based degree.
