UI Developer

Robert Half is seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI Developer to join one of our premier clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional code
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and optimal performance across devices
- Implement reusable code and libraries to streamline development processes
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, design trends, and best practices to enhance user experience
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI development
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a user-centric mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and front-end build tools (Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working closely with design teams
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, etc.)
- Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
