A Senior Quality Technician is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Bristol, RI area. The Senior Quality Technician role involves programming and setting up CMM machines, developing software to automate inspections, maintaining accurate records, testing and debugging programs.

salary: $21 - 35 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Develop and write software programs to automate CMM machines for accurate and efficient inspection of manufactured plastic products.
- Keep detailed records of programs, processes, and results.
- Ensure programs meet quality and productivity standards.
- Use contact and non-contact measuring tools, along with visual inspection, to assess manufactured components.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in plant EHS initiatives.
- Follow safety requirements related to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and equipment operation.
- Develop quality inspection plans accordingly.
Skills:
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and AS 9100 standards.
- Experience with PPAP, control plans, and PFMEA preferred.
- Experience programming and setting up CMM Machines.
- Experience developing and writing software programs to automate CMM machines for accurate and efficient inspection.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Requires 5+ years as a Quality Technician.
