Randstad - Part Time Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage front desk operations, and support administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. **The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3PM-8PM and Friday from 12-5PM** Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is a plus.
• strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office technology.
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk in a professional manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Friendly and positive demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Manage scheduling and appointment coordination for university staff or departments.
• Maintain an organized and presentable front desk area.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, document processing, and record-keeping.
• Distribute mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
• Support event coordination, such as scheduling meeting spaces or preparing materials.
• Ensure university policies and procedures are followed in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the university’s operations.
