CDL Driver Front Load Garbage Truck - Miami

The Front End Load (FEL) driver is responsible for transporting waste and mixed materials while operating a front end load truck.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial front end loader vehicle along assigned routes to customers and disposal sites
- Safely deliver, transport and/or unload container with materials at designated locations/dump site
- Safely return container to original location
- Operate electronic devices to log/report information
- Communicate with dispatch personnel
- Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management
- Reporting all container related issues and needs to dispatch and management
- Keep truck and associated equipment, clean, safe and in good working order
- Perform truck inspections pre and post trip
- Safely collect commercial waste/recyclable materials from designated locations
- Safely operate all vehicle controls for lifting and loading
- Safely operate compacters to dispose of material
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure that all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Required education and experience- Valid Commercial Drivers license.
- Two years safe driving experience
- High school dimploma or GED equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
- Waste industry experience
- Shift may vary Monday- Saturday
- 40+ hours a week
