This position reports to
Production Development Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Strong working knowledge of windchill and ability to understand 3D part and assembly drawingsEnsure Windchill BOM transfer from R&D for ICN’s matches with 3D part and assembly drawings
Support ELSP products in Mebane by collaborating closely with respective R&D teams
Assign tasks to Sourcing, PDV, Quality and Manufacturing depending on the ICN actions
Track all ICN’s, actions and status to follow up with action owners to ensure ICN to completion
Participates in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products.Shares cycle time data with internal teams.
Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
Supports production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
Ensures that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
Participates in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.
Qualifications for the role- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Strong Windchill working knowledge
- Understand 3D part and assembly drawings
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet knowledge including ability to conduct Data Analysis & Reporting
