Project Accountant

Responsibilities- Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects, including tracking budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Prepare project-related financial reports, including monthly project forecasts, cost reports, and variance analysis.
- Monitor project budgets and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Review and process project-related invoices, subcontractor payments, and change orders.
- Reconcile project costs to the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to project accounting, including revenue recognition and cost allocation.
- Assist in the preparation of project financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, billing requirements, and project-specific financial guidelines.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all project financials are up-to-date and accurate.
