Sales Development Representative - Atlanta

Overview:

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting within enterprise and higher education accounts to create interest in the Q-SYS platform and ecosystem with Director level contacts who need reliable, easy-to-use technology enabled conference rooms and classrooms to improve workplace productivity and teaching effectiveness.

This is a hybrid position, and candidates must be based in the Atlanta, GA area. The role will require both in-office presence and remote work flexibility.

Base Pay Range 67k-85k

This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities:

  • Development of an entry level technical understanding of the Q-SYS solution set
  • Conducting research to identify potential prospects and decision-makers within target accounts using various tools, such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.
  • An ability to articulate a strong value proposition
  • Contacting prospects via email, phone, and social media to generate interest and book qualified meetings for the account executives.
  • Following up with prospects who:
  • Recently attended a tradeshow or conference
  • Responded with interest to a marketing campaign or webinar event
  • Have been identified as a key prospect by sales management
  • Maintaining accurate and updated records of all activities and interactions in CRM and other systems.
  • Collaboration with the marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Achieving or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for meeting bookings and converted leads

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • At least 3 years demonstrated and relevant experience in personal selling
  • Ability to make good judgements on which prospects to call on and how much time to spend with new customers versus prospects.
  • Experience working with business development sellers who inherit the prospect and progress them through the sales process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other sales tools, such as Salesforce, Outreach, or HubSpot.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for learning and growing
  • Excellent listening, customer management skills
