Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide direct and indirect patient care, monitoring critically ill patients, and working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include responding to rapid changes in patient condition, conducting thorough patient assessments, and delivering high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and deliver appropriate care based on diagnostic results and symptomatology.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and co-workers regarding changes in patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
Respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations or changes in patient status.Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the ICU.
Follow established service excellence standards, staffing policies, and hospital protocols.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of ICU experience – Required.
Certifications:
- Current RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications – Required.
