Job Summary:
- Facilitate the delivery of physical therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed therapist. Ensure that patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through consistent care and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic treatments aligned with patient care plans.
- Communicate any changes in patient conditions or progress to the physical therapist.
- Document treatment sessions comprehensively and on time.
- Assist in discharge planning and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions.
- Supervise students and participate in team-based learning activities.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy.
- Proficient communication and problem-solving skills.
