Medical Receptionist
A Small Medical Office in Glen Cove, NY is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join their growing team!
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for the next step in their career that is able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of Medical Office experience, preferably in a small or speciality office. Anyone interested in this role, must be able to work a flexible schedule. This position will be a 40 hour work week, working various shifts throughout the week between the hours of 7am to 7pm.

Responsibilities- Greet patients, assist with check-in, and guide them to exam rooms.
- Schedule and manage appointments, including obtaining necessary referrals.
- Prepare, pull, and file patient charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations, and enter billing information.
- Submit insurance claims and respond to billing inquiries.
- Handle incoming calls, correspondence, and office communications.
- Register new patients and maintain organized patient records.
