Position Overview:
The Administrative Specialist is a support role that performs a full range of administrative duties, in addition to project work, and may also provide guidance and limited work direction to others.
What you’ll do:
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
- Draft and type standard letters and memoranda and prepare documents for distribution
- Create and maintain sensitive department records
- Maintain appointment calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate meeting amenities, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Sign for and record package deliveries and ensure they are delivered to appropriate person
- Facilitate and organize workflow through supervisor’s office, ensuring all items requiring follow up action are addressed
- Mentor less experienced peers or delegate work to others
Skills We Are Seeking::
- 2-4 years of administrative/clerical experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and Outlook
- Possess multi-line telephone experience and possess ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain confidential data
- High school diploma or equivalent
