Job Description
The Senior Development Manager - Wind will be responsible for- Project Execution & Leadership - Manage a portfolio of renewable energy wind projects, ensuring timely development while mitigating risks and maintaining budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Lead negotiations with landowners, regulatory agencies, utilities, and investors to facilitate project approvals and agreements.
- Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance) to advance projects and support business growth.
- Business Development & Commercialization - Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities, oversee due diligence, and contribute to pipeline growth.
- Reporting & Compliance - Ensure accurate project tracking, reporting, and internal approvals in alignment with company strategies.

The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Senior Development Manager - Wind will have- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of renewable energy development experience, preferably in wind projects.
- Strong knowledge of project development processes, permitting, interconnection, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record of leading projects from early development to financial close (NTP/COD).
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the U.S. and Canada as required.
