Responsibilities:
The Department Secretary is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care and assists with departmental organizational activities with the leaders of the department. Assists in the coordination of department activities by effectively performing clerical, receptionist, scheduling and communication duties.Assists in maintaining a safe and organized environment of the department(s).
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING- High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires, effective April 2014.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
