LFS, Inc. was established in 1967 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trident Seafoods. Our corporate headquarters is in Bellingham, WA and we have three year-round locations in Washington State: Bellingham, Seattle, and Poulsbo. LFS also has five year-round locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer (Kachemak Gear Shed), and Sitka; and three seasonal locations in Kenai, Dillingham and Naknek.
While our core business is supplying the commercial fishing industry, we have evolved to include industrial and sports netting sales, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale/industrial sales, recreational marine and outdoor sales, and internet sales.
Job Summary: Assist with moving freight and stock to and from loading docks and delivery vehicles:

Essential Functions:

Move products around the warehouse, tracking and labeling inventory.
Pick-Pack-Ship products to customers
Pick-Pack-Ship products to other store locations
Physical, face paced environment
Complete tasks accurately and quickly
Uses computer and bar codes reader to scan materials
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
Forklift/Man lift/Wrapper trained

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Pay Range Level I: $18.00-$19.00
Pay Range Level II: $19.00-$21.00

Minimum Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months-to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications: Must be forklift certified.

Must have require valid Driver’s License
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk to hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 30-45 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs.
