Job Location: This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work onsite in Arlington, VA 2-3 days a week.Clearance:

Job Description:
In your position as HR Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the full range of HR activities including performance management, employee recognition programs, corporate-wide HR initiatives, and retention strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture aligned with our core values: Integrity, Leadership, Dependability, Diversity, Grit, and Service to Others. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement, and adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In this position, you will also:
- Implement and manage the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Support managers and employees with performance-related issues and professional development.
- Report and analyze company-wide performance data and make strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain an effective employee recognition program that celebrates milestones, achievements, and reinforces corporate values.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure recognition is consistent across the company.
- Lead or participate in company-wide HR initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, employee wellness initiatives, employee satisfaction and engagement, and professional training and development.
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with business needs and legal compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, especially in the context of government contracting.
- Maintain employee records and prepare reports on HR metrics such as retention rates, and performance outcomes.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in Human Resources.
- 2 years of Government Contracting (Gov Con) experience.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now for HR functions.
- An active SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
- Proven experience in performance management, employee engagement, and professional development programs.
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HR data and systems management.
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
