Industrial Painter - Milwaukee
Description:
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Industrial Apprentice Painters for projects located in and around the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $18-23/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, & applying primer as necessary
- Operate spray funs to apply two-part polyurethane paint to products to ensure even coverage & high-quality finishes
- Adjust spray gun settings & pressure levels according to product specifications
- Perform touch-ups & repairs as needed to ensure product quality
- Monitor paint levels & equipment functionality
- Report any issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean & organized work area including proper storage of paint & equipment
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of Experience with two-part polyurethane spray gun painting up to 65 PSI
- Experience with Automotive Painting 25 psi to 45 psi is a Plus
- Ability to measure, compare, & perform shop calculations to meet customer specification
- Manufacturing Experience Preferred
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Background Check
- Drug Screen
- Paint Testing
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Strong troubleshooting & Problem Solving Skills
- Detail Oriented
