We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the non-profit industry, based in Kendallville, Indiana. The role involves client intake, eligibility determination, collaboration with various departments, and representation at county events.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately determine and enroll families into our programs, ensuring compliance with program operations, regulations, and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, programs, and services to ensure maximum benefits to families.
  • Represent the organization at county inter-agency meetings and other county events.

  • Proficient in data entry tasks
  • Experience in data migration
  • Ability to work in a non-profit environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Ability to resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
  • Ability to maintain patient and positive demeanor during interactions with customers
  • Understanding of the non-profit sector and its unique challenges and operations
  • Willingness to contribute to the overall mission of the non-profit organization.
