We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the non-profit industry, based in Kendallville, Indiana. The role involves client intake, eligibility determination, collaboration with various departments, and representation at county events.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately determine and enroll families into our programs, ensuring compliance with program operations, regulations, and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, programs, and services to ensure maximum benefits to families.
- Represent the organization at county inter-agency meetings and other county events.

- Proficient in data entry tasks
- Experience in data migration
- Ability to work in a non-profit environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organized, able to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Ability to maintain patient and positive demeanor during interactions with customers
- Understanding of the non-profit sector and its unique challenges and operations
- Willingness to contribute to the overall mission of the non-profit organization.
