We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in the healthcare and social assistance industry located in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement with occasional onsite visits. The HR Coordinator will be pivotal in managing various administrative tasks, maintaining employee relations, and assisting in payroll processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee administrative duties and ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Foster strong employee relations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Keep track of all employee-related matters and ensure they are properly documented and filed.
  • Assist in payroll processing to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure meticulous organization in all HR-related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations and standards in all HR processes.
  • Monitor employee accounts and take necessary action when required.
  • Ensure no recruitment tasks are undertaken in this role.
  • Maintain a high level of detail-orientation in all tasks and responsibilities. • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration
  • Demonstrated ability in Filing and organization
  • Experience in processing payroll
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Experience with HR software and digital tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting is a plus.
