Senior Accountant, Client Accounting/Advisory Services

About Our Client

A reputable firm in the accounting and advisory services industry, providing outsourced accounting, payroll, and financial advisory services to clients across various sectors.

• Prepare financial statements, manage accounts receivable/payable, reconcile bank statements, and maintain accurate financial records for complex clients
• Oversee payroll tax and sales tax filings, processing, and notices
• Conduct research on complex payroll and sales tax issues
• Review and provide guidance to associate-level staff
• Provide financial analysis and meet with clients quarterly to discuss financial statements and business performance
• Build and maintain positive client relationships by addressing accounting needs and providing exceptional service
• Assist with client onboarding, including setting up accounting systems and gathering necessary financial information
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and maintain organized records
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless services and support senior staff
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA firm
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Yardi, and other major accounting software
• Comfortable with a variety of accounting technologies and eager to learn new tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
