Staff Accountant - Robert Half

This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.

• Handle employee advance reconciliation tasks
• Perform various month-end tasks, ensuring the accuracy of accounts
• Oversee accounts payable accruals and ensure they are updated regularly
• Conduct sales tax reconciliations to comply with tax regulations
• Assist in preparing journal entries to keep accurate financial records
• Aid with CPA audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist with field exams, providing necessary information and support
• Manage the application of cash to ensure accurate financial records
• Carry out weekly and monthly bank borrowing base tasks
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and Audit - Operational.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Must have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with the General Ledger and Journal Entries is essential.
• Required to have experience in Month End Close procedures.
• Knowledge and experience in Operational Auditing is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) is necessary.
• Experience with accounting software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
