Staff Accountant

You will also be required to work with the General Ledger system and other accounting software such as Yardi and QuickBooks. This role provides an engaging opportunity to work in the industry.

• Precise processing and management of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Supervise and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) function
• Conduct Bank Reconciliations on a regular basis
• Maintain and manage the General Ledger system
• Regularly work with Journal Entries and Month End Close activities
• Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Work with Yardi for property management accounting functions
• Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained
• Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively is essential.
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of the General Ledger and Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close process is necessary.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software is mandatory.
• Experience in using Yardi property management software is a plus.
• Competency in General Ledger Systems is required.
• Bachelor's required with preference on Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Bilingual proffered, English and Spanish
• Experience with Property Accounting software such as Yardi, strongly preferred
