We are in search of a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a reputable and thriving organization in the York, PA area on a contract to hire basis. This role will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial records, leading the timely completion of monthly closings, and participating in the budgeting process.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Oversee and coordinate the financial audit process.
3. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
4. Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
5. Optimizes accounting procedures for efficiency and reliability.
6. Collaborates with external auditors and manage internal controls.
7. Implements and complies with company's accounting policies and procedures.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum 7 years Accounting experience.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
4. Thorough knowledge of current GAAP and financial reporting.
5. Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
6. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
