About Our Client

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This role is critical in ensuring efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery of products and services while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Job Description
  • Supply Chain Strategy:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business goals and improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends and supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management:
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of supply.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production and procurement teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Logistics & Distribution:
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
  • Work with transportation providers to optimize shipping routes and manage freight costs.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead and mentor supply chain team members to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure supply chain operations comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain efficiency.
  • Generate regular reports and present insights to senior management.

The Successful Applicant
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
  • Proven track record in driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
