Amazon’s Dangerous Goods (DG) organization is looking for a technical Product Manager in the Operations Technology team to build technology systems that will solve business problems. Key job responsibilities
  • Deeply understand the needs of our Operations stakeholders: You listen effectively to our business stakeholders across Fulfilment Center Operations, DG Operations and Carrier partners and are able to design innovative technical solutions to resolve their pain points. Your prioritization decisions are well-reasoned and customer-based.
  • Work closely with our technical team: You bring crisp, clear requirements to our engineers and are fully engaged in technical discussions. In addition, you partner well with our Amazon Fulfilment technology partners.
  • Continuously drive forward progress: You are excellent at creating buy-in for your product vision and decisions. You keep stakeholders aligned and you proactively tackle blockers. When the path forward is ambiguous, you drive toward clarity while exercising concrete judgement.
  • Utilize problem-solving fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of end-to-end ownership, and superb verbal/written communication skills in day to day operation.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience discussing technology concepts and how they impact stakeholder needs- Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
