Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team on a 5-6 month contract, with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will support our HR department in opening new locations, managing new hire orientation, onboarding, and employment records.

You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees, from processing paperwork to facilitating trainings and distributing new hire swag.

This role requires a high level of flexibility, as you will be working onsite and interacting closely with teams across different functions, particularly in the fast-paced studio, sports, or entertainment environments. The position also supports payroll processes, including timesheet changes and employee inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire orientations and onboarding for multiple locations
  • Process employment paperwork and maintain accurate employee records
  • Support payroll processes by handling timesheet adjustments and addressing employee inquiries
  • Facilitate and coordinate training sessions for new hires
  • Assist in organizing new hire swag and other onboarding materials
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related questions and escalate issues when needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new employees
  • 2-4 years of HR experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexibility with working overtime and occasional weekends as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
