Job Description
Construction Superintendent - Long Island, NY- Supervise all phases of commercial interior construction projects, from initial planning through completion.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections for progress monitoring, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, site logistics, and material deliveries.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Prepare and maintain daily logs, progress reports, and other required documentation.

The Successful Applicant- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interiors construction.
- Working in the Building and Construction industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Familiarity with Long Island permitting and inspection processes.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
