You will collaborate with management to achieve company performance metrics, including expense management and job profitability.

• Lead the accounting and reporting functions on a day-to-day basis, including the supervision of the accounting staff team.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting through the management of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Spearhead annual insurance evaluations and renewal processes for all liability, property and casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance to guarantee the most cost-effective insurance strategies.
• Maintain responsibility for the oversight of information systems hardware, networking, and software services in coordination with third-party IT service providers.
• Develop and evaluate cost accounting structures for all business areas, pinpoint inefficiencies, and collaborate with department managers to enforce cost improvements.
• Document and sustain workflow and processes for all Finance and Accounting functions, including the evaluation and maintenance of the proper systems and control environment for all entities.
• Implement budgetary controls and provide financial analytics around all areas of financial, cost, production, operational and budgetary reporting.
• Enhance the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of all accounting functions and internal controls, including purchasing/accounts payable, billing/accounts receivable, cost accounting, financial reporting, etc.
• Deliver monthly reporting of all company financial results by the 10th of the month following, including G/L and account reconciliations, fixed asset analyses, inventory evaluations, comparative and budgetary financial analysis, banking and cash flow, and Leadership Team reporting.
• Candidate must have proficiency in General Ledger management.
• Experience in Month-end Close Activities is a key requirement.
• Mastery of Account Reconciliation is necessary.
• Expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting is expected.
• Knowledge in Inventory Analysis is required.
• Ability to handle Budgeting and Forecasting tasks is essential.
• Strong skills in Financial Analysis are needed.
• Proficiency in Cost Analysis is a must.
• Experience in Accounting Management is crucial.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Pro software is desired.
• Proficiency in using Paycom software is a plus.
