Delivery Driver- CDL B - Adecco
The ideal candidate will have a Class B CDL, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver orders accurately and on time to meet customer expectations.
- Load, secure, and verify orders before departure to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Inspect truck components (tires, lights, brakes, fluids) to ensure safe, cost-effective operation.
- Maintain communication with dispatch for real-time updates and instructions.
- Document deliveries, including order confirmations and any discrepancies.
- Ensure truck maintenance, safety compliance, and necessary documentation are up to date.
- Collaborate with the distribution team to ensure efficient operations.
- Represent the company professionally and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with DOT regulations.
- Address customer concerns, collect feedback, and report any service issues.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with warehouse and counter duties as required.
- Use computerized systems to track deliveries and inventory.
- Follow company policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Clean driving record, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals when required.
- Forklift and warehouse equipment experience (certification preferred).

Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year
