We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the legal industry, based in New York. This role provides an opportunity for short term contract employment, where you will be primarily assisting the Transport and Exit Team by organizing and filing documents.

You will also be responsible for managing customer inquiries and maintaining precise records.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in filing and organizing documents for the Transport and Exit Team
  • Answer inbound calls and provide high-quality customer service
  • Conduct data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage email correspondence with clients and team members
  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls as necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for various tasks
  • Schedule appointments and meetings as required
  • Utilize iManage for document and email management
  • Maintain accurate customer records and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with iManage software is required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Experience in answering inbound calls
  • Capable of managing email correspondence professionally
  • Ability to schedule appointments effectively and efficiently
  • Prior experience in a legal environment or similar administrative role would be advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
