Receptionist

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Lansing, Michigan. This role primarily involves tasks related to reception and data entry in the service industry. The chosen candidate will be a key point of contact within our organization, managing communication and maintaining accurate data records.

• Handle incoming calls, ensuring messages are taken accurately and passed on in a timely manner.
• Coordinate scheduling of appointments.
• Respond to emails in a professional and efficient manner.
• Undertake data entry projects, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are conducted in line with company policies and procedures.
• Use Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks.
• Assist in maintaining the smooth operation of the workplace, ensuring all tasks are completed within the required timeframe.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a consistent and high level of service.
• Show an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Possess at least one year of experience in a similar role such as Receptionist or Front Desk Officer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Demonstrable ability to operate standard office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Must have a customer-focused attitude and a professional demeanor
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle situations with tact and diplomacy
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
