Summary: The Senior Architectural Designer will play a key role in the development of hospitality concepts, rebranding initiatives, and brand identity creation. This role requires expertise in architectural and interior design, graphic design, and 3D visualization, with a focus on brand consistency and creative innovation.The ideal candidate will have experience leading design projects and establishing FF&E and design standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment based in Southern California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and Concept Development- Develop and execute architectural and interior design concepts for hospitality projects.
- Lead brand concept and rebranding efforts, ensuring consistency and innovation.
- Create and maintain brand books, FF&E selections, and design standards.
- Research and integrate current design trends, materials, and sustainability practices into projects.
- Develop mood boards, concept presentations, and design documentation.
- Utilize graphic design and 3D visualization software to develop compelling design presentations.
- Work within CAD and Revit for technical drawings and design implementation.
- Manage project documentation and workflows using Procore, BIM 360, or equivalent software.
- Oversee the development of design documentation, including plans, elevations, and specifications.
- Conduct quality control reviews of drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and brand vision.
- Work closely with procurement teams to ensure seamless FF&E selection and installation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to facilitate project execution.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a hybrid office environment in Southern California.
- Support training and mentorship for junior designers and design team members.
- Extensive experience in architectural and interior design within hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in graphic design and 3D software suites.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD and Revit.
- Experience with project/drawing management software (Procore, BIM 360, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to lead brand concept development and rebranding initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural and interior design.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality design projects.
- Experience working in a hybrid or in-office environment.
- Additional certifications in project management or design software.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.

The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $185,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
