Facility Maintenance Coordinator
The Facility Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing minor building repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and operational.

responsibilities:
- Perform minor interior and exterior building maintenance
- Conduct wall repairs and hang pictures following framing standards
- Check and replace light bulbs and ballasts in light fixtures
- Clean up wet spills, vacuum dry/wet spills, and wax floors (if applicable)
- Conduct general maintenance of office furniture
- Research and submit requests for maintenance equipment or cleaning supplies
- Assist in procurement of facility maintenance supplies
- Coordinate bids and services for major repairs (e.g., landscaping, pest control)
- Liaise with approved contractors and vendors for repairs or services
- Inspect facility grounds and remove debris
- Organize and stock storerooms and breakrooms
- Ensure common areas are tidy and orderly
- Keep breakrooms, kitchens, and classrooms clean and organized
- Maintain and clean refrigerators, sinks, microwaves, and other appliances
- Maintain restrooms throughout the day
- Assist in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards
- Submit cost-saving suggestions and assist in planning maintenance activities
- Perform fire extinguisher inspections and HVAC system checks
- Conduct preventive maintenance and testing of fire sprinkler systems
- Monitor fire sprinkler system malfunctions and report to specialists
- Maintain an approved list of contractors/vendors for repairs
- Maintain an inventory of shop tools and equipment with serial numbers
- Keep service records for major equipment like HVAC systems
- Maintain mechanical and electrical schematic drawings of the building
- Create and update maintenance checklists (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Prepare seating arrangements for meetings and presentations
- Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly workflow tasks
- Unload supplies from delivery trucks as needed
- Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) activities at the site
- Engage in Learning Center Safety Management System (SMS) processes
qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
