responsibilities: Critical R&D Procurement Sourcing Project support (RFI, Q, P), Analytical Support, Project Management,
Negotiation and supplier contract (SOW, Change Order) management (review, execution)- RFQ between preferred suppliers
- Analytical RFx Support: Rate Cards - analysis (Analytics between competing bids (what to prioritize, negotiate), benchmarking, negotiation
- Spot and Quote negotiations
- Project Manager for category projects (doesn't need to be a SME): Maintaining project plan, sending meeting minutes, Tracking deliverables
- Maintain Preferred Supplier data
- Assist in Category Management Market Analysis
- Support Category Management projects and initiatives
- Support Category Managers with platform (Labviva, Science Exchange, Scientist.com) issues and SoW exceptions
- Support Category Managers in savings calculations and entries
- Resolve CP (Cost Package) issues with Ariba PRs (Purchase Requests)
- Follow up, track and maintain Rebate structures and commitments with suppliers and TBS
- Follow up on late invoice payments with Suppliers, business partners and TBS
- Contract Support: SOWs, Change Orders, Consolidation, cancellation, payment terms, expirations, cycle time metrics
- Act as a role model for the company´s values PTRB (Patient, Trust, Reputation, Business)
- Represent the company at internal and external meetings
qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred but not required; ISM Supply Chain and or Project Management Certifications preferred but not required
- Experience: ~4 years' experience in research and drug development in the biopharmaceutical and/or CRO/CMO industry with specific experience in Supply Chain including Procurement; Pre-Clinical Lab Consumables and Capital Equipment Purchasing and Maintenance is a plus
