Job Description
  • Create, test, and implement HVAC product designs, ensuring efficiency, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize CAD and other engineering software to produce detailed design documentation.
  • Manage product development projects from conception through production, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and communicate progress.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
  • Analyze data to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
  • Develop and execute testing protocols to evaluate product performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems and components to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and product manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams regarding product functionality and performance.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to HVAC products.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC product design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, market dynamics, and current industry trends.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish; excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including travel in and out of the USA and Mexico.
  • Preference for candidates residing in Texas.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with performance testing and regulatory compliance preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
