The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $34 and $36. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Laboratory Technician
Onsite | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role:
The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) is a Center of Excellence specializing in in vitro and ex vivo research to support the design, development, and commercialization of medical devices. We are seeking a Laboratory Technician with a strong scientific background to assist with biomedical research studies, specifically supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood-contacting devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood-contacting devices.
- Follow experimental protocols and perform laboratory tasks independently and under guidance.
- Assist in preparing data for reporting and presentations.
- Set up, clean, and operate laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with scientists to optimize and troubleshoot technical assays.
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience with an Associate degree in Biology or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with cell-based assays, hemocompatibility evaluation, and/or microscopy.
- Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per hour
