Fund Accounting Manager, Venture Capital

Salary: 160k-180k base + bonus

About the Company: This venture capital firm has maintained partnerships with audacious founders and has constructed iconic businesses across a wide spectrum of industries over the past five decades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review transactions on a weekly basis, track documentation for investments, and review capital allocation calculations.
• Lead and document technical research for complex transactions.
• Assist in review of the quarterly close, including all financial statements and quarterly deliverables.
• Facilitate periodic KPI requests from portfolio companies for internal and external reporting purposes.
• Oversee electronic distribution of financial statements, K-1s, capital calls, and distribution notices to LPs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of BS or equivalent degree with public accounting experience and CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance, preferably in the Venture Capital or PE space.
• Demonstrated track record of management.
• Highly professional with a good attitude and team-oriented focus.
