Team Leader, Information Security (Detection Engineering)

Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members, enhancing their skills in detection engineering, threat hunting, and security analysis.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
MUST-HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., GCTI, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
- Proven experience in detection engineering, threat detection, or a related cybersecurity role, with strong knowledge of SIEM technologies and detection methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing detection rules and responding to security incidents.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
- Experience implementing an established IAM/IGA solution
- CISSP, CISA, CEH, CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, PCNSE or other pertinent industry-recognized certifications
