PC Technician

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated PC Technician to join our team in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Working within the industrial sector, this role encompasses a variety of tasks associated with maintaining and testing computer hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process and test various computer hardware including Dell Technologies, IBM, Linux Technologies, and Mac Computers.
- Coordinate the requisitioning of necessary parts for various projects.
- Assist in the design of valve monitoring devices, contributing to the development and innovation of our products.
- Build and set up test equipment and prototype units, ensuring all equipment is operational and well-maintained.
- Conduct experiments and record results, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Utilize a range of electrical and mechanical lab equipment, such as signal generators and counters.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal skills, professionally interacting with suppliers, customers, and shop floor personnel.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Exhibit experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, debuggers, and/or emulation tools.
- Apply experience in breadboarding and soldering of printed circuit boards.
- Utilize basic PC skills and familiarity with M365 and proprietary software.
- Engage in light soldering tasks as necessary. • Proficiency in Computer Hardware is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with Dell Technologies is required.
- Knowledge on IBM systems and operations is necessary.
- Proficiency in Linux Technologies is a critical requirement.
- Experience with Mac Computers is expected.
- Expertise in AB Testing is beneficial for this role.
- Understanding of Active Directory is necessary.
- Ability to handle and troubleshoot Apple Devices is required.
- Familiarity with various Backup Technologies is expected.
- Cable Installation skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft systems and software is a must.
- Ability to read and interpret Electronic Schematics is beneficial.
- Familiarity with general Schematics is expected.
- Experience with Soldering is a plus.
