Services we provide include security system design and installation, door access systems for offices, campuses, and multi-unit commercial / residential properties; and video monitoring applications.
Urban Alarm is seeking a key leader to drive the sales, sevice, and development for Urban Alarm's security and life safety services. The primary objective of the Business Development Manager is to sell comprehensive security systems and services to a variety of clients.The Company, a well-established leader in the security industry, recognizes the challenges and complexity that its clients must overcome to successfully perform ongoing management of their security systems. The Company uniquely runs and manages security systems so its clients don’t have to face these challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully close company-generated residential and commercial leads
- Generate new residential and commercial account leads
- Conduct sales presentations and proposals with prospects to close sales and schedule installations
- Consult with residential and commercial customers to educate, design and implement the installation and services of Urban Alarm lines and interactive services through Alarm.com
- Meet established monthly sales goals by prospecting, obtaining referrals, and building continuous customer contacts
- Participate in scheduled sales meetings
- Amplify collective sales opportunities via referral/introductions of key decision-makers/client contacts to colleagues and managers.
- Identify, research, analyze, and communicate competitive sales strategies to drive results.
- Participate in key industry associations and events to market Company brand and build and target client pipelines
Qualifications:
- Proven success in growing revenue and penetrating a sales territory
- Three (3) years consultative sales experience in commercial real estate, property management and/or managed services preferred
- Well developed prospecting techniques and consultative, strategic selling
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills required, including verbal and written communication
- Prior experience and demonstrated success closing sales of complex systems or services with protracted sales cycles.
- Experience with CRM Systems, and the ability to learn our proprietary tools and technologies
- An entrepreneurial mindset & demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals.
Work Environment:
- Temporarily remote/flexible in-office schedule
- Local travel within assigned territory
