Overview:
As an Enterprise Architect - Information Security, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and governing secure architectures that enable UiPath’s Agentic Automation. You will ensure that security principles are seamlessly integrated into all layers of enterprise architecture, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
This is a highly collaborative role, interfacing with technical and business teams to drive innovation while safeguarding enterprise assets and ensuring compliance with global standards.
What you'll do at UiPath:
- Architectural Strategy
- Define and implement enterprise security architectures that support UiPath’s initiatives in Agentic Automation.
- Ensure alignment with business goals, compliance frameworks, and best practices in cybersecurity and enterprise automation.
- Advocate for secure-by-design principles in all solutions, with a focus on zero-trust architecture and least privilege access
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with product development, IT, and data science teams to incorporate security at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with external stakeholders, vendors, and regulators to influence and comply with security standards for Agentic Automation and AI.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging threats, security trends, and technologies relevant to AI-driven automation.
- Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks specific to Agentic Automation and AI, such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, or unauthorized decision-making.
- Develop and maintain threat models for AI and automation workflows to address unique security challenges.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, integrating learnings into future designs.
- Technology Enablement
- Design secure cloud and on-premises solutions that handle sensitive data, supporting complex automation workflows.
- Implement cryptographic methods, privacy-enhancing technologies, and secure API designs to protect sensitive AI models and agentic systems.
- Leverage AI for security operations, including anomaly detection, threat intelligence, and automated incident response.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and AI ethics standards.
- Define and enforce security policies, frameworks, and procedures across the enterprise.
- Contribute to UiPath’s thought leadership in ethical AI governance, publishing white papers or participating in industry forums.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture, with exposure to automation or AI-driven technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in designing and implementing security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), and Automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with adversarial attacks on AI models, Impact of expanded attack surface in AI world, privacy & data protection concerns, data poisoning, model theft and reverse engineering and autonomous decision-making
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure coding practices.
- Proficiency in data encryption, cryptography, identity management (IAM), Single-sign-on and zero-trust architectures.
- Additional Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical technology development and deployment.
- Flexibility of travel 25% of time.
